Lifting jack set for Siemens Desiro MainLine Multi Units

A customer from Kaiserslautern received a HYWEMA® lifting jack setof 12 lifts type FL/N 14

The lifting set is used for maintenance- and repair operations on multi units type Siemens Desiro MainLine. The multi units have a length of up to 70 meter and is completely lifted by the lifting jack set with a capacity of 168.000 kg.

The main control box with a Siemens touch panel allows several combinations on the lifting set between groups of 4 lifts and 12 lifts for the different waggon combinations to freely control them. The set is additionaly equipped with the special function „axwise vehicle alignement“. If an axle of the multi unit breaks, the defect axle can be lifted and lowered separately.

All lifting jacks are according to the community legislation on machinery by the commission of the European communities and safety standards.
