Lifting Jacks from Solingen for Egypt

The second set of HYWEMA® lifting jacks were inaugurated at public transportation services of Alexandria (APTA) in the present of Chairman Mr. Shereen Magd Eldin Kassem.

This was the second set of 12 lifting jacks type FL/N 8 with 8,000 kg of load-carrying capacity per jack already supplied through HYWEMA® in the current year.

Due to the different types of trams the set is designed for lifting directly at the vehicle frame or over cross beams. The 12 lifting jacks can be used for bogie changing at the same time in different groups at two parallel tracks.

APTA with over 150 trams is for more than 25 years customer of HYWEMA®. Every set of lifting jacks procured in 1986, still in the daily use.

Like all lifting jacks from Solingen also this one according to the latest European Machine Directive 2006/42/EG and the European standard EN 1493.
