Six-Columns-Spindle Lifting Platform Operation at a Washing Bay
The company HYWEMA® exchanged a more than 30 years old six-column lifting platform in the washing bay at a Southern German public transportation service.
Because of strongly corroded and no longer conformed to the current requirements for low floor busses. Problem definition was to increase the capacity by 10 tons to 30 tons but to maintain the drive-on height. Thereby to increase the rail length and the internal distance between the columns.
This succeeded to the fullest satisfaction of the customer.
To increase durability of the platform at the wet area all steal parts were galvanized. Of course the platform was professionally installed on-site and commissioned by HYWEMA® assembly operators.
Foundation work was not necessary in this case. The cabling took place within the lifting platform, only the connection to the control box fixed on the hall wall took place through ceiling wiring.
The quality system for HYWEMA® is valid in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 as well as the quality assurance system complies with the requirements as specified in Annex X of Directive 2006/42/EC. The vehicle lifting platforms are manufactured according to the European standard EN 1493 and the European Machine Directive.
HYWEMA® - The best solution for elevated requirements.
