Lifting and rotating device for the repair and assembly of bogies

Special constructed lifting and rotating device as waste heat stand.

For a well known customer in Cologne we developed a lifting and rotating device Type HDV 3 MONO with a special work-stand to renew wore and damaged wheel tires on bogie-wheel sets.

Example of a stationary lifting and rotating device.

This example shows a stationary lifting and rotating device that is able to handle different wheel sets. After clamping the wheel set in the lifting and rotating device the following working process occurs: “lift, rotate, positioning in the burner. The wheel set now continously rotates in the burner until the wheel tires are released and can be stripped. The hot wheel tire will be put on a slide and then removed in a underfloor basket.
