Turnover device to lift, separate, turnover and to assemble forming tools

For a customer in Denklingen we developed a turnover device for forming tools. Due to the weight of the forming tools, two heavy columns in welded construction on a foundation built-in base frame were aligned and bolt down. Therefore the turnover device has a capacity of 10.000 kg.

In case of this turnover device the load acceptance occurs by two U-shaped acceptances. They got fixed- and floating bearings for the same inside micrometer on site on the forming tools. After drafting on the bolts, the load acceptances are friction-locked by an electro-mechanical cylinder.
