HYWEMA® supplied multiple lifting platform systems to the German Armed Forces for safely lifting the NH90 helicopter. Based on the mobile wheel clamp type RG, the specialized NH90 aircraft lifting system was developed in close cooperation with the approval authority. The helicopter is precisely lifted exclusively via custom-adapted nose and tail beams at the jacking points at working height. The beam systems allow fine positioning of the load attachments in the x and y directions for optimal alignment. The lifting system is officially certified by the German Armed Forces’ Airworthiness Authority, guaranteeing operational readiness and safety.

At this vehicle manufacturer, caravans, motorhomes, and vans are ergonomically lifted to working height within an assembly line. This enables assembly work both beneath and inside the lifted vehicles. Two stationary and two C-rail-mounted mobile wheel clamps provide flexible handling of vehicles of varying lengths. A key feature is the electro-hydraulically telescoping wheel forks, which extend after the vehicle is positioned. Load capture for caravans and vans is directly at the tire, with caravans additionally supported via a drawbar conveyor trolley.

The mobile wheel clamp system RG 7.5HD offers a load capacity of 30 tons, enabling safe lifting of construction vehicles of various sizes for repair work. Equipped with suitable heavy-duty beams of type TR 14.6, different road rollers can be precisely lifted at designated chassis load points. The load point adjustment range extends from 750 to 1,250 mm from the center of the beam. The wheel clamps are inserted with their wheel forks into the receptacles of the floor-level, manually movable beam mounted on swivel casters. The wheel clamps and beam form a positive, secure connection ensuring maximum safety.
